Community Crisis Intervention (CCI), is a mental health training designed to help the lay person better understand individuals living with mental health disorders, intellectual/development disabilities or substance use issues. You will learn about topics such as: the history of our mental health system, Trauma, Stigma, Substance use disorders and others related to Mental Illness. This 12-hour, self-paced training, offered by Trillium Health Resources, provides tools and resources to help community members feel more empowered to help a fellow friend or neighbor who is experiencing a mental health crisis.

CCI Provides information on the following topics: CCI Overview, De-institutionalization, Mental Health 101, Trauma, Autism and I/DD, Child and Adolescence, Suicide and Self-harm, Personality Disorders, Substance use disorders, Aging and Dementia, Stigma, De-escalation.
